This scholarship aims to support college-bound students who wish to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s and share their personal experiences.
How to Apply for the Teen Alzheimer's Awareness Scholarship
The Teen Alzheimer's Awareness Scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend a U.S. college or university this fall. To apply, students must submit a 1,500-word essay or a video (no longer than four minutes) describing how Alzheimer’s has affected their lives. Applicants are encouraged to share personal experiences, such as caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, volunteering in a dementia care setting, or working to promote Alzheimer’s awareness in their community. Essays or videos should explain how these experiences have shaped the student’s understanding and how they plan to advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness in the future.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. Submissions can be made online at www.alzfdn.org/scholarship.
