Position Overview:Gabriel Health Institute, a leading allied health school offering programs in Patient Care Technician (PCT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, and Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technology, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Director of Nursing. This pivotal role involves providing leadership and oversight to the nursing department while ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs across all allied health disciplines.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development and Program Management:
- Collaborate with program coordinators and faculty to develop and review curriculum, instructional materials, and clinical experiences for nursing and allied health programs.
- Ensure that educational content and learning activities are aligned with program objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, student performance, and satisfaction through ongoing assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion, enhancement, and innovation to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
Clinical Education and Training:
- Coordinate clinical placements, preceptorships, and experiential learning opportunities for nursing and allied health students in collaboration with healthcare facilities and community partners.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to clinical instructors and students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Facilitate the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills and competencies through simulation exercises, skills labs, and hands-on training activities.
- Promote interprofessional collaboration and teamwork among students, faculty, and healthcare professionals in clinical settings.
Collaboration and Community Engagement:
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers, industry organizations, and community stakeholders to enhance clinical education and workforce development initiatives.
- Represent Gabriel Health Institute at professional meetings, conferences, and events to promote nursing education and allied health programs.
- Participate in advisory committees, task forces, and regulatory agencies to stay informed about trends, issues, and opportunities in healthcare education and practice.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of progressive leadership experience in nursing education, administration, or clinical practice.
- Experience in curriculum development, program management, and accreditation processes preferred.
- Strong clinical background with expertise in acute care or relevant specialty area.
