Omar Hickman is a digital marketing expert specializing in the field of social media, event marketing, and online human behavior. With over 15 years' experience in the field, creating marketing campaigns for the likes of Florida Hospital and PepsiCo.
He is the founder of Lake Nona Social, an online community blog that reaches over 20,000 readers per week and over 12,000 followers on social media who live and work in the Lake Nona Area connecting its readers to developments in Lake Nona, breaking news, business development, and community events.
Omar is heavily involved in the Lake Nona community serving as both board member of the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce and PR director of the Rotary of Lake Nona. Giving back to the community, he uses his talents to host, market and organize community events like the Lake Nona Area Home & Garden Show benefiting Nemours Hospital, Jazz on a Green, which helps raise funds for UCF College of Medicine and YMCA scholarships.
