Nation's Largest Nursing Conference Headed to Orlando

Orlando is hosting nearly 11,000 nursing professionals from across the country for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Magnet Conference. The three-day event is the nation's largest nursing conference and will take place at the Orange County Convention Center Oct. 10-12.

Keynote Speakers will include:

Gretchen Rubin, happiness guru and a New York Times bestselling author, will share how best to motivate people, help them change their habits and how to manage yourself On Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m.

Charles Kunkle MSN, CEN, CCRN, BC-N, nurse, motivational speaker and author, will discuss how to help leaders energize, empower and engage the bedside caregiver on Friday, Oct. 11 at 3:30 p.m.

Leon Logothetis, global adventurer, TV host, producer and author, will share his incredible journey around the world relying solely on the kindness of others through the Netflix series The Kindness Diaries on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 12:15 p.m.

The conference will also feature more than 70 concurrent sessions on timely topics, including:

  • The impact of how correct gender identification supports patient care and enhances positive staff and patient experience

  • How the nation's second largest birthing center increased exclusive breastfeeding rates

  • How a community hospital became a leader in LGBTQ healthcare equality in the four domains of patient, family, employees, and community

  • Nurse-led initiatives to reduce workplace violence

The conference will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando
