Earlier this week an HHS spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon that the smoking supply kits referred to in the program guide would include pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and “any illicit substance.” HHS said that their goal was to reduce the risk of infection when drug users smoked their drugs out of glass pipes. Glass pipes put addicts in danger of getting cuts and sores, according to the HHS spokesman. 

Grant applicants get priority treatment if their program provides glass pipes and a host of other listed items to mostly “underserved communities,” including African Americans and “LGBTQ+ persons,” as defined by President Biden’s executive order on “advancing racial equity,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. https://policetribune.com/federal-government-using-30m-to-give-crack-pipes-to-addicts-for-free/ 

For the record I am a Registered Independent leaning Libertarian. 30+ years of work and trying to “give back” to the Central Florida community is reflected in relationships & respect, regardless of race or personal preference. I am committed to assisting the underserved & economically challenged.  We publish a respected Healthcare publication, and I am absolutely aware of Central Florida’s underserved population specific to Healthcare. 

I absolutely CANNOT SUPPORT any HHS Grant program, which provides glass pipes. I understand the pipes are only 1-component of the program, but the decision to include them speaks to something Washington, DC routinely demonstrates…NO Common Sense! There is No Medically sound explanation for providing the “Addicted” a safer opportunity to remain “Addicted.” This is just another example of No Common Sense and both Democrats & Republicans are shamelessly GUILTY! 

Maybe those truckers in Ottawa, Canada are NOT crazy! I wonder what would happen if U.S. truckers headed to Washington, DC? I bet they would get the “Silly SWAMP’s” attention! Maybe even STOP spending hard working U.S. taxpayer dollars like “Drunken Sailors.” Remember the Boston Tea Party anyone?
