On That Dr. Malone Interview with Joe Rogan

Recently, I became aware of 250 Doctors calling to ban Robert Malone, MD, from Twitter and later social media. WOW… I wondered what “crime” Dr. Malone had committed? A quick search online and I learned of his interview on the Joe Rogan Podcast.

Oh!...Joe Rogan the “Podcast Cowboy” so I listened for a few laughs. What I heard gave pause, so I researched Robert Malone, MD and learned he is a U.S. Virologist and Immunologist who has dedicated his professional existence to the development of mRNA vaccines. His CV is impressive and included:

  •  1980’s - Malone worked as a researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where he conducted studies on messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) technology.
  • 1990’s - Malone collaborated with Jon A. Wolff and Dennis A. Carson, two eminent scientists, on a study that involved synthetization.
  • He has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Kennesaw State University, and he co-founded Atheric Pharmaceutical, a company that was contracted by the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases in 2016.

I learned Dr. Malone is a leader in the fields of Virology and Immunology and is considered the “Father” of mRNA vaccines. I was intrigued and listened to the entire podcast and wondered:

  •  Why is Dr. Malone being banned?
  • Why is a leader in Virology and Immunology basically under vicious attack?

This is the United States of America – Free Speech, a country whose diversity (including diverse opinions) are what make it great! What Dr. Malone shares is way above my paygrade. I cannot confirm his Covid 19 and vaccine perspective is correct.

I do recognize Dr. Malone has a right, as every U.S. citizen, to share what he believes. As Publisher and the managing principal of the Orlando Medical News, I will emphatically state that we strive to share Healthcare News, remembering all news has multiple perspectives. Specific to Dr. Malone, I am aware of other Medical Professionals who share similar views; Scott Barbour, MD, and Dr. Marty Makary come to mind immediately.

Powerful debate historically has benefited medicine, despite Big Tech banning alternative narratives. The Orlando Medical News will provide its audience Dr. Robert Malone’s appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast. The goal being powerful debate to benefit Medicine and this GREAT Nation.

Respectfully,

John Kelly
