AdventHealth unveiled a major expansion to the Ginsburg East Tower on the Orlando campus which includes expanded ER space with 20 additional exam rooms, two decontamination rooms and an enhanced waiting room. The 39,000 square foot addition also includes a new cardiopulmonary rehabilitation center and new ECHO unit, both located on the second floor of the Ginsburg Tower. All of these spaces will open to patients June 16.
The cardiopulmonary rehabilitation center overlooks beautiful, serene Lake Estelle. The rehab center includes state-of-the-art equipment and will have expanded hours so AdventHealth can continue to provide the best care to patients recovering from life-threatening heart and lung conditions
The ECHO unit has 7 new rooms for in and out-patient diagnostic - echocardiograms and ultrasounds - for heart and vascular patients.
The Ginsburg Family Foundation contributed a significant gift to AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida aligned with the Cardiovascular Institute expansion. Ginsburg family philanthropy will support the Cardiovascular Institute Center for Living Genetics and Genomics Program to identify and prevent cardiovascular disease in thousands of patients and families in Central Florida.
