Physician is newest addition to Digestive and Liver Center of Florida
Harinath Sheela and Srinivas Seela, MD, are pleased to announce that Jessica Narváez-Lugo, MD, has rejoined their practice and will be seeing patients at Digestive and Liver Center of Florida located at 100 N. Dean Road in Orlando starting August 3rd.
"We are very excited to welcome back Dr. Narváez-Lugo to our practice," said Peggy Hughes, practice administrator at Digestive and Liver Center of Florida.
Dr. Jessica Narváez-Lugo, a board-certified physician in Gastroenterology, obtained her medical degree in 2003 from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico, formerly known as Ponce School of Medicine. After completing her internal medicine residency at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, she pursued an additional year as a training program leader becoming a Chief Resident. She acquired a high-quality training during her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Narváez-Lugo is passionate about diagnosing and treating all gastrointestinal disorders but has special interest for Abdominal Pain, Anemias, Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Constipation, Diarrhea, Diverticulosis, Swallowing Disorders, Gallbladder Disorders, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Liver Diseases such as Hepatitis C (HCV), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD, such as Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease), Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Peptic Ulcer Disease.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
