SANFORD, FL – The Board of Directors of Central Florida Family Health Center, Inc. d/b/a True Health announces the appointment of Janelle Dunn as its permanent Chief Executive Officer of True Health.

Mrs. Dunn has served as the interim Chief Executive Officer for the past two months and has demonstrated her ability to lead, motivate, and cultivate collaborative relationships that positively impact the community. In the midst of the pandemic, she has continued to lead True Health’s response to COVID-19 by ensuring that the community has access to testing and resources. 

Mrs. Dunn’s dedication and passion to serve the Central Florida community are key compontents that led to the board’s decision. Her experience over the past 8 years at True Health most recently serving as the company’s Chief Operations Officer and strong business relationships within the community is a key asset to the organization.

Mrs. Dunn is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she attained a Master’s degree in Health Administration and Loyola University New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing/Management. Additionally, she is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) through the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the Operations Chair of the Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC), Board Member of the Primary Care Access Network (PCAN), and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

True Health’s Board Chair, Mr. Eugene Provan, expressed his support in Mrs. Dunn’s selection stating “The board is confident in Janelle’s leadership and ability and is looking forward to True Health’s continued growth and success.” True Health will remain focused on achieving its mission and serving the Central Florida community.
