Michele Napier, vice president of revenue management and chief revenue officer for Orlando Health has been named one of the nation's top 15 female revenue cycle management (RCM) leaders to know in 2018. The honor, from industry publication Becker's Hospital Review, recognizes progressive revenue cycle thought leaders who are helping to reshape the industry's financial systems.

As chief revenue officer for Orlando Health, Ms. Napier oversees revenue management, managed care, and care management for eight hospitals, 600 physicians, and ancillary services. She graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and earned her master's in business administration from the University of Miami. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 30 years including hospital, physician, reimbursement, strategic pricing, and health plan operations. Her professional accomplishments include directing the managed care strategy and revenue cycle operations for a top insurer and leading a successful turnaround for a government HMO. Ms. Napier has experience in multiple markets in the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast regions of the U.S. and Puerto Rico where she oversaw regional networks for two of the nation's largest insurers.
She is certified in managed care by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and is a fellow, HFMA. She is a Board Member for the HFMA Florida, the past president of the Southwestern Ohio Chapter of HFMA and has served on national HFMA councils including the National Advisory Council for Revenue Cycle.
