Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital has named a new chief operating officer (COO) to oversee daily operations and new business strategies at the full-service hospital located in Orlando’s highly populated tourism corridor. In addition to operational oversight of the hospital, he also served as the regional market lead for ambulatory growth and development.

“Tim brings a wonderful blend of operations and business development leadership to the position,” said Thibaut van Marcke, senior vice president, Orlando Health Southeast Region, and president of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. “We are excited to have him join us as his expertise will only enhance our ability to provide the best care and range of services to our patients and the community.”

“I’m truly excited to meet the entire team and become part of the Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital family,” Mr. O’Brien said. “In addition to my operational responsibilities, I am especially eager to help promote the hospital’s values as we strive to maintain our standing within the community as a trusted partner in providing superior care.”
