On Monday Seminole County announced that residents will be required to wear facemasks while in public.
The executive orders states that “Every person working, living, visiting or doing business in Seminole County is required to wear a face covering consistent with CDC guidelines while at all businesses, places of assembly and other places open to the public.”
Alan Harris, county emergency management director, signed the mandate which is effective Wednesday, July 1.
Residents with specific medical conditions, those exercising and those under 2 are exempt.
