With 13 years of industry experience, Nichols will be responsible for business development, portfolio administration, and client relations. She joins BankUnited from Fifth Third Bank in Maitland, where she served most recently as financial center manager responsible for business development.

A resident of Longwood, Nichols supports the Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses and volunteers her time with Feeding Children Everywhere and the Children's Home Society of Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree from Rollins College in Winter Park
