Volusia County Medical Society members and guests gathered for their Spring General Meeting & Social at Daytona Maserati and Alfa Romeo with the Orlando Medical News, on March 28th. More social than meeting, VCMS President Delicia Haynes, MD, stressed the need for physicians to know who their colleagues are in the community. "Our members learned more about community medicine at this event than they would have sitting in a meeting room for an hour. Patients and physicians benefit from the professional relationships built at events like this", said Haynes.
